Nevada Revised Statutes Title 42. Protection from Fire; Explosives § 474.590. Chapter does not authorize operation of ambulance in any area for which exclusive franchise for ambulance service has been granted by or on behalf of county, city or town

Nothing in this chapter authorizes any person, firm, corporation, association, government, governmental agency or political subdivision of a government to operate an ambulance in any area for which an exclusive franchise for ambulance service has been granted:

1. By a county, city or town pursuant to NRS 244.187, 268.081 or 269.128, as applicable; or

2. By another person or governmental entity authorized to do so on behalf of the county, city or town.
