Nevada Revised Statutes Title 41. Gaming; Horse Racing; Sporting Events § 466.028. “Pari-mutuel wagering” defined

“Pari-mutuel wagering” means a system of placing wagers on a horse race whereby the wager is placed at a window and equipment is used to pay a person's winnings in the precise amount of money wagered by persons who did not win, after deducting taxes owed and commissions charged by the race track.
