1. If the Board finds that the proposed cemetery authority has in good faith complied with all lawful requirements, it shall within 30 days issue a certificate of authority for the operation of a cemetery.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of NRS 642.069, the certificate of authority is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance, and if the cemetery authority has not begun operations within that time the certificate expires unless the Board has, for good cause, extended the period. No such extension may be given for more than 6 months from the date of extension.
