Nevada Revised Statutes Title 40. Public Health and Safety § 449A.115. Owner and administrator of certain facility prohibited from receiving certain money or property from resident or former resident; exception

1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 and notwithstanding any other provision of law, an owner or administrator of a medical facility or facility for the dependent is not entitled to receive, and must not receive:

Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, any money, property, proceeds or interest therein that is described in subsection 1 passes in accordance with law as if the owner or administrator of the medical facility or facility for the dependent had predeceased the decedent resident or former resident.

3. The provisions of subsections 1 and 2 do not apply if the owner or administrator of the medical facility or facility for the dependent is the spouse, legal guardian or next of kin of the resident or former resident of the facility or home, as applicable.
