Nevada Revised Statutes Title 38. Public Welfare § 432B.609. Screening of child in custody of agency which provides child welfare services to determine whether child is victim of commercial sexual exploitation; exception

1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 4, each child in the custody of an agency which provides child welfare services must be screened to determine whether the child is a victim of commercial sexual exploitation.

The requirement prescribed by subsection 1 does not apply if the agency which provides child welfare services has determined that no method for conducting the screening satisfies the requirements prescribed by subsection 3 for a child who is the same age as the child to whom the requirement applies.

5. As used in this section, “commercial sexual exploitation” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 432C.050.
