The University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, may each elect to insure members of varsity and freshman athletic teams representing the respective campuses for unlimited medical coverage for injuries incurred while the members of the teams are engaged in organized practice or actual competition or any activity related thereto. Such insurance must be obtained from a private carrier.
