Nevada Revised Statutes Title 34. Education § 391.323. Time of hearing; report and recommendation by hearing officer; action by State Board of Education upon receipt of report

1. Unless the parties agree to a later date, within 30 days after the selection of a hearing officer pursuant to NRS 391.322, the hearing officer shall conduct a hearing. The State Board may accept or reject the recommendation or refer the report back to the hearing officer for further evidence and recommendation, and shall notify the teacher, administrator or other licensed employee in writing of its decision. The decision of the State Board is a final decision in a contested case.
