If a veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States submits an application for employment in a school district for a position that requires certain training, experience or licensure in a skilled trade, the school district must consider any military education, training or occupational experience listed on a Joint Services Transcript or a similar document as credit towards any such required training, experience or licensure.
