The governing body of a charter school shall develop a policy for accepting, investigating and responding to complaints and submit the policy to the State Public Charter School Authority for review and approval. Such a policy may allow for a complaint to be delegated to the staff of the charter school or an educational management organization if the policy allows a complaining party who does not believe the staff of the charter school or educational management organization has adequately addressed a complaint to submit the complaint to the governing body of the charter school for its investigation and response.
