“Securities” means United States Treasury securities, obligations of United States governmental agencies and corporations, obligations of a state or political subdivision, corporate stock, bonds, participations in securities backed by mortgages held by the United States or state governmental agencies, loan-backed securities, money market instruments, federal funds, securities purchased and sold under agreements to resell or repurchase, commercial paper, banker's acceptances, purchased certificates of deposit, options, futures contracts, forward contracts, notional principal contracts, including, without limitation, swaps, and other similar securities and instruments.
