Nevada Revised Statutes Title 3. Remedies; Special Actions and Proceedings § 34.980. Appointment of counsel

If the court grants a hearing on the petition pursuant to NRS 34.970, the court may, after determining whether the petitioner is indigent pursuant to NRS 171.188 and whether counsel was appointed in the case which resulted in the conviction, appoint counsel for the petitioner.
