Nevada Revised Statutes Title 3. Remedies; Special Actions and Proceedings § 33.575. Issuance of emergency order; expiration of emergency order; extension of emergency order; declination to issue emergency order; hearing to determine whether to issue extended order or dismiss verified application

1. If a court issues an emergency order at a hearing described in NRS 33.565:

2. In order for service of an emergency order to be effectuated pursuant to NRS 33.620 or for good cause shown, the court may extend the duration of an emergency order for a period not to exceed 7 days. Notice of any such extension must be served on the adverse party by a law enforcement agency.

If the court declines to issue an emergency order at the hearing described in NRS 33.565 or upon the request of either party and for good cause shown as provided in subparagraph (3) of paragraph (b) of subsection 1 of NRS 33.565, the court shall, not later than 7 calendar days after the filing of the verified application pursuant to NRS 33.560, schedule a hearing to determine whether to:
