Nevada Revised Statutes Title 24. Elections § 293B.295. Exclusion of voter until right to vote ascertained

After the opening of the polls, a member of the election board shall not issue any voter a ballot nor allow the voter to enter the booth until they ascertain that the voter is entitled to vote.
