The governing body of any incorporated city, whether incorporated or governed under a general act, special legislative act or special charter enacted, adopted or granted pursuant to either Section 1 or Section 8 of Article 8 of the Constitution of the State of Nevada, may extend the corporate limits of such city under the procedures or alternative procedures set forth in NRS 268.570 to 268.608, inclusive.
