Nevada Revised Statutes Title 21. Cities and Towns § 266.460. Duties of officers may be defined by ordinance

The duties, powers and privileges of all officers in any way connected with the city government, not defined in this chapter, shall be defined by the city council; and the defining by this chapter of the duties of city officers shall not preclude the city council from defining by ordinance further and additional duties to be performed by any such officer.
