A. The governor shall appoint advisory committees to the department's income support division. Creation of the advisory committees shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Executive Reorganization Act. 1 If the existence of a committee, representational membership requirements or other matters are required or specified under any federal law, regulation, rule or order as a condition of receiving federal funding for a particular program administered by the department, the governor shall comply with those requirements in the creation of the advisory committee.
B. All members of the advisory committees appointed under the authority of this section shall receive as their sole remuneration for service as a member those amounts authorized under the Per Diem and Mileage Act. 2
