New Mexico Statutes Chapter 73. Special Districts § 73-18-35. Term of office for director

The regular term of office for a director is four years, and the director shall serve until a successor has been chosen and has qualified. A director shall qualify by taking an oath of office. Newly elected directors shall take office on the date that their terms of office begin following the election of the director.
