The certificate of authority of a health care plan issued under this article shall be subject to continuation or expiration upon the same applicable procedures and time periods as provided in Article 5 (authorization of insurers and general requirements) of the Insurance Code with respect to authorized insurers, and upon payment of the applicable fees specified in Section 101 (fee schedule) of the Insurance Code.
