A. This article applies to all kinds of direct insurance except life, health, annuities, title guaranty, surety (other than fidelity), credit, mortgage guaranty, ocean marine, surplus line and other coverages written by insurers other than authorized insurers or written by Mexican casualty insurers pursuant to Article 40 of the Insurance Code.
B. This article also does not apply as to motor club coverages or services nor as to any coverage issued by any person not organized under laws providing expressly for formation of insurers nor engaged in business as such an insurer.
