The provisions of the Limited Liability Company Act apply to all existing foreign limited liability companies which have obtained a certificate of authority to transact business in New Mexico issued pursuant to provisions of the Business Corporation Act. Any such limited liability company shall reapply for registration under the Limited Liability Company Act. The secretary of state shall have authority to revoke upon reasonable prior written notice any certificate of authority to transact business in New Mexico which was issued pursuant to provisions of the Business Corporation Act prior to the effective date of the Limited Liability Company Act.
