The local government that created the enterprise zone shall organize, coordinate and direct the administration of the enterprise zone in accordance with law, applicable ordinances, resolutions, any joint powers agreements and the enterprise zone plan. It may enter into a contract with an appropriate organization to provide the management of the activities of the zone. The local government is solely responsible for meeting the reporting requirements listed in Section 8 of the Enterprise Zone Act.
