If an inmate is released from an institution outside of New Mexico, pursuant to Article IV (G) of the compact, the superintendent of the penitentiary shall provide him with transportation to either his home or place of employment if in New Mexico, or if neither of these is applicable to any point in New Mexico selected by the inmate.
