There is created in the state treasury a fund to be known as the “day-care fund”. The fund shall be invested by the state treasurer as other state funds are invested. The fund shall consist of distributions of revenue collected since July 1, 1987 and future revenues collected pursuant to Section 24-14-29 NMSA 1978. All balances in the day-care fund are appropriated to the children, youth and families department for use in implementing the income-eligible day-care program under the Social Services Block Grant Act Title XX. 1
