New Mexico Statutes Chapter 21. State and Private Education Institutions § 21-3-14. Resolution of New Mexico highlands university regents

That whenever the said board of regents of the New Mexico normal university [New Mexico highlands university], by the affirmative vote of a majority of its members, duly entered in the minutes of said board, shall by resolution determine that it is necessary to erect, alter, improve, furnish or equip any building or buildings, structure or structures at said university, or acquire any land for use thereof, or to retire the whole or any part of any series of bonds previously issued in conformity with law or for any or all of said purposes, said board is hereby empowered and authorized to issue and sell, subject to the terms of this act [21-3-13, 21-3-14, 21-3-16 through 21-3-28 NMSA 1978], building and improvement bonds of said New Mexico highlands university.
