New Mexico Statutes Chapter 1. Elections § 1-2-5. Secretary of state; election seminars

In carrying out his duties under the Election Code, the secretary of state shall, once before each and every statewide election, cause to be organized and conducted at convenient places and times in this state seminars on the administration of the Election Code. The secretary of state shall send written notice of the seminar to each county clerk setting forth the time and place of the seminar. Each county clerk, one of his designated deputies and one voting machine technician shall attend the seminar. Per diem and mileage shall be paid out of the funds appropriated to the secretary of state.
