New Jersey Statutes Title 59. Claims Against Public Entities 59 § 9-7

Nothing in the act  1 to which this act  2 is a supplement shall affect the right of the court, in accordance with the rules governing the courts, to review the amount of a verdict or judgment on its own initiative or in acting on a motion of a party for a new trial.
