The director may suspend or revoke the license held by any retail dealer for a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, or on other reasonable ground or grounds, after five (5) days’ notice of such proposed revocation or suspension, and the ground or grounds thereof to such retail dealer. Said notice shall be served personally or by registered mail upon the retail dealer and shall set forth the date, time, and place of a hearing to be conducted under the provisions of the “Administrative Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c. 410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.), for that purpose.
