New Jersey Statutes Title 52. State Government, Departments and Officers 52 § 27BB-81

An officer shall have such of the powers and duties of the director in sections 57 and 58 and 82 to 87 inclusive, of this act,  1 as are specifically assigned to him by the board. An officer shall exercise his powers and perform his duties under the general supervision of the director.
