New Jersey Statutes Title 52. State Government, Departments and Officers 52 § 27-45.10

Any municipality which has issued or may hereafter issue warrants, under the authority of an act entitled “An act in relation to the powers and duties of municipalities in which the Municipal Finance Commission may be functioning and supplementing chapter twenty-seven of Title 52 of the Revised Statutes,” approved May sixteenth, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine,  1 is hereby empowered and shall, upon the request of a registered holder of any such warrant, issue a new warrant or warrants, of like form and tenor as the warrant originally issued but of such different denomination or denominations as requested by the registered holder.
