New Jersey Statutes Title 52. State Government, Departments and Officers 52 § 27-1

All the powers and duties formerly exercised and performed by the Municipal Finance Commission and vested in the Local Government Board of the State Department of Local Government by chapter three hundred eighty-five of the laws of one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine  1 and in the Local Government Board of the Division of Local Government in the State Department of Taxation and Finance  2 by the effect of chapter one hundred twelve of the laws of one thousand nine hundred and forty-four  3 shall continue to be exercised and performed by the Local Government Board of said division, and the said Local Government Board shall be constituted the Municipal Finance Commission, hereinafter, in this chapter, called “Municipal Finance Commission” or “commission.”
