New Jersey Statutes Title 52. State Government, Departments and Officers 52 § 18A-33

The State Treasurer may, in consultation with the heads of the other departments or branches of the State Government, and subject to the provisions of section forty-four  1 hereof, arrange for the interdepartmental and intradepartmental transfer of personnel with a view to the greatest possible efficiency of departmental operations.
