New Jersey Statutes Title 52. State Government, Departments and Officers 52 § 17B-9.16

A monetary donation made available to the State through the Missing Persons Unit which specifies the purchase of items or materials to be used for the purposes of this act or any donation of items or materials which meet the requirements of the Division of State Police, shall be accepted by the Attorney General on behalf of the State and distributed or appropriated for law enforcement and specifically used for the purposes of this act. A monetary donation shall be included in the annual appropriation bill and distributed in the same manner as other appropriations.
