If the total number of members of a rural electric cooperative shall exceed 1,000, then at least 100 of the members present in person shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at all meetings of members. In the case of a joint membership, the presence at a meeting of either joint member or both shall be regarded as the presence of one member. If less than a quorum is present at any meeting, a majority of those members present in person may adjourn the meeting from time to time without further notice.
