New Jersey Statutes Title 48. Public Utilities 48 § 2-21.21

Whenever rate counsel represents the public interest pursuant to its statutory authority in the review of the petition and plan filed by a local exchange telecommunications company or an interexchange telecommunications carrier with the board pursuant to the provisions of this act, the Director of the Division of Rate Counsel may assess each participating local exchange telecommunications company or interexchange carrier for reimbursement to the Treasurer of the State of New Jersey pursuant to section 20 of P.L.1974, c. 27 (C. 52:17E-19).
