New Jersey Statutes Title 46. Property 46 § 3-1

The feudal tenure estates, and the incidents thereof, taken away, discharged and abolished from and after March twelfth, one thousand six hundred and sixty-four, by section two of an act entitled “An act concerning tenures,” passed February eighteenth, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five,  1 shall so continue to be taken away, discharged and abolished; and no such estate, or any incident thereof, shall, at any time, be created in any manner whatsoever.
