New Jersey Statutes Title 40A. Municipalities and Counties 40A § 9-127

The Superior Court shall have jurisdiction over actions or proceedings involving money payable to or by a constable and may make appropriate orders and judgments, in a summary manner, in the case of absconding, insolvent, incapacitated or deceased constables.
