New Jersey Statutes Title 39. Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulation 39 § 4-212

The said division and any such board, body or officer is authorized to consult and co-operate with the commissioner, and the county and municipal officials having jurisdiction over the highways and traffic regulations and enforcement in the city of Trenton, or in the municipality in which the State institution may be located, as the case may be, in making and enforcing the said regulations.
