New Jersey Statutes Title 38. Militia Soldiers, Sailors and Marines 38 § 16-5

No such commission shall abolish any position or office held by a person mentioned in paragraph one of this act,  1 or change the title of such position, office or employment, or reduce the emoluments thereof for the purpose of terminating the service of such person.
