The commissioner shall embody in his annual report to the Governor a statistical summary and report of work of the section during the year ending June 30.
a. 1 The report shall contain a statement showing for each mine, the number of persons employed underground and above-ground; the number and nature of fatal, lost-time injuries and serious accidents; the number of inspections made, complaints filed, inquests attended, workings ordered vacated and violations found; and any other information deemed important and relevant to safety in the mining industry of the State together with such recommendations as in the judgment of the commissioner are necessary to enforce the law, insure the safety of persons in mines and preserve property. The commissioner may prepare supplemental reports containing any or all of the above described statements, from time to time. A copy of any supplemental or annual report shall be made publicly available.
