New Jersey Statutes Title 34. Labor and Workmen's Compensation 34 § 1B-21.27

There is hereby established in the Department of the Treasury a special nonlapsing fund to be known as the “Unsafe Driving Surcharges Fund” which, beginning July 1, 2006, shall be comprised of all unsafe driving surcharges and any interest or other income earned thereon. Moneys in the Unsafe Driving Surcharges Fund shall be managed and invested by the Division of Investment in the Department of the Treasury. All moneys in the Unsafe Driving Surcharges Fund shall be disbursed not less frequently than monthly by the State Treasurer, upon appropriation, to the Motor Vehicle Surcharges Revenue Fund until all bonds and refunding bonds issued or entered into pursuant to section 4 of this act  1 and the costs thereof have been paid in full.
