New Jersey Statutes Title 32. Interstate and Port Authorities and Commissions 32 § 1-35.27c

In furtherance of the aforesaid findings and determinations and in partial effectuation of the comprehensive plan heretofore adopted by the two states for the development of terminal and transportation facilities in the Port of New York District, it is the intent of the two states to authorize the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to participate as limited in section 5 of this act  1 in the effectuation of railroad freight projects pursuant to chapter 802 of the laws of New York, 1947, as amended,  2 and chapter 43 of the laws of New Jersey, 1947, as amended, and chapter 631 of the laws of New York, 1947, as amended,  3 and chapter 44 of the laws of New Jersey, 1947, as amended  4 or any of the foregoing.
