New Jersey Statutes Title 30. Institutions and Agencies 30 § 4D-8.14

Upon completion of the demonstration project, the Commissioners of Human Services and Health shall report to the Governor, and to the Legislature pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c. 164 (C.52:14-19.1), on the demonstration project, and include in the report the findings of the evaluation carried out pursuant to section 9 of this act.  1  The commissioners shall make such recommendations as they deem appropriate.

If, after three years following enactment of this act, the commissioners find the demonstration project was successful in reducing costs and improving health outcomes and the quality of care for Medicaid recipients, the commissioners may recommend that Medicaid ACOs be established on a permanent basis and in additional communities in which Medicaid recipients reside.
