New Jersey Statutes Title 2C. The New Jersey Code of Criminal Justice 2C § 43-6.6

a. In the case of a person who has been convicted, adjudicated delinquent or found not guilty by reason of insanity for the commission of a sex offense as defined in subsection b. of section 2 of P.L.1994, c. 133 (C.2C:7-2), and who is required to register as provided in subsections c. and d. of section 2 of P.L.1994, c. 133 (C.2C:7-2), or who is serving a special sentence of community or parole supervision for life as provided in section 2 of P.L.1994, c. 130 (C.2C:43-6.4), or who has been convicted, adjudicated delinquent or found not guilty by reason of insanity for a violation of N.J.S.2C:34-3, and where the trier of fact makes a finding that a computer or any other device with Internet capability was used to facilitate the commission of the crime the court shall, in addition to any other disposition, order the following Internet access conditions:

b. A person who fails to comply with the Internet access conditions set forth in this section shall be guilty of a crime of the fourth degree.

c. The appropriate agency heads shall promulgate guidelines which set forth standards to guide agency action in regard to the specific Internet access conditions which may be imposed on a person pursuant to the provisions of this act. 1

d. The Attorney General or the County Prosecutor may petition the court to impose restrictions pursuant to this section upon any person who is required to register as provided in section 2 of P.L.1994, c. 133 (C.2C:7-2) for a sex offense set forth in paragraph (3) of subsection b. of section 2 of P.L.1994, c. 133 (C.2C:7-2).
