New Jersey Statutes Title 2B. Court Organization and Civil Code 2B § 2A-3

A proceeding for removal may be instituted by either house of the Legislature acting by a majority of all its members, or the Governor, by the filing of a complaint with the clerk of the Supreme Court, or such proceedings may be instituted by the Supreme Court on its own motion.
