In any case in which an obligor owes past-due child support with respect to a child receiving assistance under a State program funded under TANF, the department is authorized to petition the court to issue an order that requires the obligor: to pay the support in accordance with a plan approved by the court; or to participate in work activities as ordered by the court, if the obligor is subject to such a plan and is not incapacitated. A petition for participation in a work activity shall include a request to adjust the amount of the order in accordance with support guidelines and the plan.
