Sections 27:15-2 to 27:15-6, inclusive, 27:15-9 to 27:15-15, inclusive, and 27:15-18 of the Revised Statutes and “An act concerning highways, and supplementing chapter fifteen of Title 27 of the Revised Statutes,” passed June twenty-second, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two (P.L.1942, c. 261), 1 are hereby repealed; provided, however, that the provisions thereof shall continue to apply with full force and effect to any work, or any agreement with respect thereto, undertaken or to be undertaken, or entered into, pursuant to the provisions of such sections, with State aid therefor apportioned or distributed or to be apportioned or distributed from net receipts of the motor vehicle revenues set aside prior to the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, or from any sum appropriated to carry out the purposes and provisions of “An act concerning county and municipal budgets,” approved February thirteenth, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven (P.L.1947, c. 4).
