The term “hazardous substance” shall not apply to economic poisons subject to “The Economic Poison Act of 1951” 1 nor to foods, drugs, cosmetics and devices subject to the provisions of subtitle 1 of Title 24 of the Revised Statutes relating to these products, nor to substances intended for use as fuels when stored in suitable containers and used in the heating, cooking, or refrigeration system of a house, nor to substances subject to control under the Atomic Energy Commission Act of 1954 as amended, 2 or the Radiation Protection Act of New Jersey (chapter 116, P.L.1958). 3
