Notwithstanding the limitations set forth in P.L.1971, c. 362 (C. 20:4-1 et seq.) on the amounts of relocation payments that may be provided to various categories of persons displaced by land acquisition, code-enforcement or rehabilitation programs of State or local government, a displaced person entitled to receive relocation assistance pursuant to the federal “Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970,” Pub.L. 91-646 (42 U.S.C. § 4601 et seq.), as amended by the “Uniform Relocation Act Amendments of 1987,” Title IV of Pub.L. 100-17, shall be entitled to receive such amount as may be determined pursuant to that federal act in lieu of any lesser amount determined pursuant to P.L.1971, c. 362 (C. 20:4-1 et seq.).
