Section 11 of chapter 66 of the laws of 1966 1 is saved from repeal.
[Under this section the following acts and parts of acts, relating to the social security offset, were repealed, effective July 1, 1966: P.L.1955, c. 37, § 68; 2 P.L.1956, c. 218; 2 P.L.1960, c. 123; 2 P.L.1962, c. 108; 2 and P.L.1964, c. 190, 2 subject to the following provisions:
“The repeal of the aforesaid section and acts shall not be construed to provide for any retroactive effect. Where a member's retirement allowance was reduced by the amount of the old age insurance benefit under Title II of the social security act, 3 paid or payable to him, whether received or not, or if such reduction is to be made upon the member's attainment of 65, on or after July 1, 1966, such reductions shall cease or no reduction shall be made.”]
