New Jersey Statutes Title 18A. Education 18A § 66-191

No retirement, death or other benefit shall be payable by the State, Rutgers, The State University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rowan University, Montclair State University, Kean University, or the Division of Pensions under the alternate benefit program. Benefits shall be payable to participating employees and their beneficiaries only by the designated insurers or mutual fund companies under the terms of the contracts.
